This social activity was initiated by Bali Caring Community together with Legian Beach Hotel and was held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the hotel ballroom.
Ketut Darmika is one of the Steering Committee (SC) of this blood donation activity said that Kebo Iwa Blood Donation is the continuation of the activity of Valentine Blood Donation which has been held every year without stop till now which year of the twenty first.
The purpose of this activity is to help the blood supply in PMI for supplying the need of transfusion. Besides that, this activity also aims to improve the awareness of society to keep healthy in a way of donating blood regularly “said by Ketut Darmika”.
Was also told that the total of the register reached 271 registers with the blood acquisition were 146 blood bags. Blood type of O was 72 blood bags, blood type of A was 22 blood bags, blood type of B was 48 blood bags, blood type of AB was 4 blood bags and 125 register was failed. Although many of the donators were failed and couldn’t donate because their blood pressure didn’t suffice to or too high, or the Hemoglobin was below standard, but it was enough to open their mind that they didn’t have “healthy life style” yet, said by Ketut Darmika.
On the separate opportunity the chairman of (SC) Bali Caring Community is Ida Rsi Wisesanatha told “Why the brand of Valentine Blood Donation was turned to Kebo Iwa Blood Donation”.
Ida Rsi said “we’ve been 20 years promoting the meaning essence of Valentine’s love and doesn’t mean the romance of puppy love pass away on the event of blood donation which has large scale and held without ulterior motives”.
At this time we felt more called to declare our proud of Bali’s idol hero figure which is Kebo Iwa or known as Kebo Taruna in order to the generation of Bali dynasty and also Nusantara can feel more the gait and the fight which give amazing role model for us.
Kebo Iwa – mahapatih of Bali Aga Empire on fourteenth century was famous because of his incredible power. Not because able to be brutal in defeating their enemies but it was more by his charisma.
