The resounding Echo of Peace or Gema Perdamaian has positive purposes that is to create and preserve harmony between human beings with nature, other human beings and the creator. Cite as an example, the beautiful garden consists of various kinds of flowers, so as this difference consists of various tribes, religions and customs. This is our responsibility to maintain the precious diversity simultaneously. The GP movement is held throughout the year by the GP community in various ways including road shows to campus, gatherings, digital content competitions, the election of peaceful ambassadors and several other social events. One of the hopes for harmony is done by praying concurrently at the peak of the event.
The goal of the GP movement remains a peaceful inspiration to posterity and subsequent generations. History has recorded that every civilization seems to end with war and natural disasters. We must wise up that as an intelligence human being, we need to protect the nature wisely in order to provide a proper place for all living things to live in. Besides, we must be able to manage the diversity that exists in controlling the ego towards deepest identity. Regarding to the relationship with the creator, human beings must always pray consciously asking for happiness as well as blissfulness of all living things.
Currently, the world has flared up. It shows its imbalance. The weather changes, there has been natural disasters everywhere. Isn’t that enough to show humans and all living things that the world needs peacefulness, blissfulness and the world insists human to be in harmony, complete each other and act as a family? We are one of the very small creatures in this big world, we have our own time and limits. Everything changes and there is no eternity. As human beings who feel grateful with the present called life, we must do good, help one another before our limit of time is come.
At the peak of the GP event, various ethnic performances was participated, as a form of learning for all of us that we are surrounded by beautiful diversity. After the performance on the main stage of the ethnic groups from Sabang to Papua, this parade in Padayatra surrounded the Bajra Sandhi Renon Denpasar field as a symbol of diverse life cycle and must be fulfilled with blissfulness. Ignition of 21 torches was a symbol of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika or binnery of polarity and as a unity of yin and yan, the symbol of wisdom.
The release of birds was a symbol of happiness and freedom of mind to figure out the true life in accordance with its nature or dharma.
The release of balloons was a symbol of colorful pluralism of life.
The invitations were coming from various stratum of society, ranging from students, college students, entrepreneurs, social organizations, banks, governments and public. All of them were estimated at more than 9.280 registered people.
The event was held by the collaboration between the committee and the stake holders and donors which were collected independently. Various types of donors were collected including food and beverage donors, donors of sound systems and event equipment, money and so forth. All were done voluntarily according to their respective abilities. All people consciously seek blissfulness with their own way.
